Wait, who are you?

I got so into my first blog post about my favorite book, that I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Alicia Harrington. I'm 14 and when school starts I will be a high school freshman. I LOVE my life! I'm a tech junkie- I LOVE working with my computer, which is broken right now, T.T  I also love reading manga, watching anime, and listening to both alternative/screamo and j-pop music. I'm the oldest of 4. Joseph (joeyy) is my lovely boyfriend. My closet friends are Austin, Hannah, Joey, and Troy. My wall(s) are covered in quotes and pictures. I'm great in school, I had a 4.o all year 8th grade year, & I was in A(dvancement)V(ia)I(ndividual)D(etermination). I watch stupid youtube videos 24/7. & I dont like people who think they're cool, cause in retrospect, no one is cool.
Troy, Me, and Joey.

Mr. Sclar, my AVID teacher, and me.

Joe and I after 8th grade promotion.

Troy and me in English class.

Nick and I in US History class... good times.

So what exactly IS world domination?

I will just start out and say, this might sound a little silly, but it's great. &, the word dominate will be used a lot. World domination is not/tried dominating the entire world, like Hitler. Its dominating your OWN world, and not letting anyone else dominate it for you. I've been reading this book called "The Teen's guide to World Domination: Advice on Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Awesomeness." by Josh Shipp. This is where I grasped this whole concept on 'dominating your own world.' In the book, Josh discusses a BUNCH of different topics such as, Fundamentals of World Domination, How to Dominate your Villains, How to Dominate your World, and How to Dominate Today, Tomorrow, and Forever. Right now I have this book checked out of the library, and frankly, I'm buying this book. It's changed me. I now know life changing things, like what to do if someone I let someone in my life who shouldn't be there, or how to handle situations that could turn ugly real fast. Besides those, Josh is flat out hilarious. At one point when he's talking about advertising, he refers to an Axe commercial and how according to Axe, you'll have girls running up to you from out of nowhere and biting your arm like you're made of chocolate. Like I said, funny. Its the perfect book for a teen, and I recommend it to everyone.
